"An artist would feel offended if everyone was to look at his art the same way."
The most original and imaginative of all hoopoe birds, eternal dreamer with an artistic soul and a mind like a steel trap – this is Hoopoangela, the eldest child of the famous Hoopoevinci family. Hoopoangela dares to be different, refusing to be bound by accepted beliefs, customs, or practices. The most pronounced is her love of books, art and poetry, which others sometimes find odd for a hoopoe, but admire her dedication nonetheless.
Her father, a respectable nest sculptor, and her mother, the best playwright the hoopoe world has ever known, encouraged Hoopoangela from an early age to chase her curiosity and think outside the box. That is why she grew up to become a lovely free-thinker who likes to read and go on adventures within her own imagination.
Among the Hoopoe flock, Hoopoangela is known for an irresistible girlish spirit and cute sartorial choices, but above all - for her unique artistic expression. Hoopoangela is a bird of many talents. She's often seen daydreaming while sitting on the riverbank, translating her dreamy journeys into lovely poems. Others see her walking along the seashore at dusk, conveying the beauty of the nature into her breathtaking paintings. Her mission is to create a unique experience for every admirer of her art.
Hoopoangela is very confident about what she is doing, never doubting her own ability to succeed. It was probably such a stance, alongside her immense talent, that has brought her one of the best possible rewards – just a few years ago, Hoopoangela became the youngest artist ever to paint a portrait of a member of The Royal Hoopoe Family. Word has it that it was Maya the Hoopoe Queen herself who requested Hoopoangela’s service.
The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.
